A few thoughts to begin…

Hey everyone. I hope you all are having a great day, whenever it is or wherever you may be as you read this.

This blog is what I hope soon becomes a daily stop for each of you on your Christian journey. Shortly, I hope to have a brief daily devotional that each of you can access here at enoncp.wordpress.com.

Most days will feature something along the lines of scripture, a few thoughts and perhaps a question or two that will hopefully allow all of us to evaluate ourselves and discover what areas God can move to better each one of us.

Perhaps other things will be here from time to time as well, such as random thoughts or event announcements.

It would also be neat to see the comments section used as somewhat of an open forum where we can all bounce thoughts and ideas off of one another.

All in all, I just thought this could be another tool that we could all use to grow closer to God and to each other.

While I’m creating this as a tool for us at Enon, by no means do you have to keep this blog a secret. Feel free to share the address with anyone.

I’ll keep you all updated as far as when the daily devotions and stuff start, but until then, I’ll leave you with one of my favorite verses – a passage that illustrates how we, as Christians, are to turn over our own personal wants in favor of the will of God.

“I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”   Galatians 2:20 KJV
